Our client, a leading player in the aviation and airport equipment industry, specializes in manufacturing and providing premium ground support equipment (GSE) for airports, airlines, and ground handlers worldwide. They are seeking a skilled and proactive Service Engineer to join their dynamic team!
This role is ideal for a hands-on Service Engineer who enjoys working on-site, solving technical issues, and engaging directly with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on a variety of products, including shuttle buses, catering/food trucks, platform/lift vehicles, and other ground support equipment (GSE).
- Prepare detailed technical service reports documenting maintenance activities.
- Generate repair and modification quotations for products.
- Conduct thorough pre-delivery inspections and product diagnostics to ensure optimal functionality.
- Oversee vehicle deliveries and provide comprehensive training to clients.
- Identify potential service opportunities and support after-sales service activities.
- Manage and secure orders within Singapore and other assigned regions.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently, with minimal supervision.
- Technical proficiency in servicing and maintaining vehicles and ground support equipment (GSE), including diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues.
- Well-versed in the use of tools, diagnostics, and maintenance procedures for heavy-duty vehicles and support equipment.
- Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic components and systems diagnostics.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel for work assignments as required.
