Job Description
We are looking for a Mechanical / Electrical Installation Technician to support the installation, setup, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment. This role is suitable for polytechnic graduates, ITE graduates, or candidates with hands‑on installation experience who are keen to develop a technical career.
You will work closely with engineers and project teams to ensure installations are carried out safely, accurately, and according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical or electrical installation work for equipment, machinery, or systems
- Assist in onsite setup, alignment, wiring, and connection of machines or equipment
- Read and follow basic mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and installation instructions
- Perform basic functional testing and checks after installation
- Support troubleshooting and rectification during installation or commissioning
- Ensure work is carried out in accordance with safety procedures and work standards
- Maintain proper housekeeping and report any installation issues to the supervisor
Requirements
- NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical / Electronic Engineering
- Mechatronics
- Automation or related disciplines
- Basic knowledge or interest in mechanical and electrical systems
- Comfortable with hands‑on, onsite installation work
- Able to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Willingness to learn training will be provided
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
