Position Overview

The Data Protection Office (DPO) at NTUC is seeking a motivated intern to support key initiatives that strengthen personal data protection governance across the organization. The intern will work on building practical data protection indicators and dashboards, and improving how NTUC manages data intermediaries through clearer tracking and digitized workflows.

Job Responsibilities

(A) Data Protect Key Indicators

1. Assist in identifying / developing key indicators for : -
2. The level of personal data protection compliance among NTUC business units
3. Personal data protection culture within NTUC as a whole
4. Set up a dashboard for the reporting of key indicators

(B) Building a Data Protection Culture in NTUC-ARU

1. Communication to NTUC-ARU regarding Data Protection Tips
2. Quarterly bulletin highlighting:
3. Common mistakes
4. Lessons from breaches
5. Positive examples (Gold Standard)
6. Educating Data Protection hygiene using gamification to entice BUs to participate in interactive learning:
7. Create interactive games for BUs to participate and learn Data Protection Policies
8. Incentivize and reward BU for achieving goals

Preferred Qualifications

1. Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Security, or related fields.
2. Comfortable working with data and dashboards (e.g., Excel, Power BI / Tableau or similar).
3. Experience with workflow digitization tools (e.g., Microsoft Forms, SharePoint, Power Apps/Power Automate) is a plus.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive/confidential information professionally.
5. Clear communication and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
