Key Roles And Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our team in business development, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and project finance activities.
This internship offers an unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in large-scale energy infrastructure transactions and strategic corporate initiatives across Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
Business Development Support
- Conduct market research on gas-fired power opportunities in target geographies
- Identify and profile potential acquisition targets, partners, and counterparties
- Track government tenders, policy developments, and strategic investment trends
M&A Support
- Assist in preparing financial models, valuations (DCF, precedent transactions, trading comps)
- Support due diligence (financial, technical, commercial) including data room reviews
- Draft presentation materials, investment memos, and term sheet summaries
Project Finance Support
- Contribute to the development of project finance models including debt sizing, IRR/NPV analysis, and sensitivity cases
- Assist in reviewing financing term sheets, loan agreements, and financial close checklists
Corporate Initiatives
- Prepare management reports, board slides, and coordination materials for internal approvals
- Track project milestones and M&A pipeline status
- Assist in preparing materials for strategy sessions
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Background in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
- Strong interest in energy infrastructure, across both thermal and low-carbon technologies
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Basic understanding of financial statements and corporate valuation techniques
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
