Interior Designer / Furniture BOM Drafter (SSOC 34321)

44 hours per week overtime payable at statutory rates when required
Salary
SGD 2,500 - 3,200 per month
- Offers above SGD 3,000 will be extended only to applicants who satisfy all core skill requirements and possess at least three years of relevant experience.
- No transport, meal, or housing allowances are provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce space-planning drawings and detailed furniture breakdowns (BOM / cut lists) from site measurements.
- Generate accurate material schedules for production and purchasing teams.
- Maintain drawing revisions and ensure alignment between design and fabrication.
- Liaise with site personnel to resolve installation details.
- Perform other related duties assigned by the direct supervisor.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one dedicated furniture BOM / manufacturing software (e.g., Cabinet Vision, TopSolid Wood, imos, or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or SketchUp for basic drafting.
- Ability to interpret furniture construction drawings, dimensions, and material specifications.
- Competence in Excel for maintaining material lists.
- Occasional on-site work involving the carriage of measuring tools and components up to 15 kg.
Education & Experience
- Minimum qualification: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience: At least three years of practical experience in furniture detailing or interior drafting is preferred.
