We're seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer to join our team, with a focus on commercial and workplace projects, including hotels and retail spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their design expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop interior spaces for commercial and workplace projects, including hotels, retail spaces, and offices
- Create visually stunning and functional designs that meet client requirements and exceed expectations
- Develop and present design concepts, including 2D and 3D visualizations, to clients and stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution
- Conduct site visits and surveys to inform design decisions and ensure compliance with project requirements
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
- Engage with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and expectations, and provide design solutions that meet their goals
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design quality and innovation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial and workplace interior design, with a focus on hotels and retail spaces
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign)
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design concepts and ideas
- Strong client engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to understand client needs and preferences
- Portfolio showcasing design expertise and experience in commercial and workplace projects
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with BIM software (e.g., Revit) and 3D visualization tools (e.g., V-Ray, Lumion)
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and practices
- Certification in interior design (e.g., NCIDQ, ASID)
