Position Overview
We are seeking an In-Game Content Operations Specialist to design and deliver engaging editorial content that enhances the player experience. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and curating in-game articles that align with player needs, community trends, and game updates. The ideal candidate has strong editorial judgment, excellent writing and editing skills, and a deep passion for gaming communities.
Responsibilities:
- Content Coordination: Oversee the day-to-day execution of NewsCenter updates, ensuring weekly releases are accurate, on time, and aligned with game progress, seasonal events, and community needs.
- Content Review & Editing: Edit and refine both internally produced content and user-generated submissions (UGC), ensuring clarity, accuracy, and accessibility for different player groups.
- Localization & Delivery: Collaborate with translators and internal teams to adapt content for multiple languages while maintaining consistency in tone and messaging.
- Cross-Team Alignment: Partner with Community Operations, VIP Operations, and Product teams to ensure content reflects key updates, events, and player feedback.
- Data-Driven Adjustments: Monitor key performance indicators (e.g., reading rates, revisit rates) and use insights to optimize publishing rhythm, style, and content mix.
Requirements:
- Strong English writing and editing skills, with the ability to make complex information simple and engaging.
- Experience reviewing, formatting, and refining content, with an eye for detail and consistency.
- Ability to work with multilingual content and adapt messaging across different languages and regions.
- Basic understanding of gameplay mechanics and player communities, with a strong willingness to learn quickly.
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable managing a high volume of editing and publishing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
