Job Description

LionsBot is strengthening its HR foundation as the business grows globally. This role leads Human Resources for our Singapore headquarters and acts as the primary HR owner locally, in line with company policy and Singapore employment law.

You will run HR with discipline and judgment, manage a small team, and partner closely with the Global Head of HR on higher-risk and cross-country matters. Day to day, you will be trusted to make sound people decisions, keep standards high, and ensure employees and managers experience HR as clear, fair and dependable.

What you will own

Singapore HR leadership

  • Act as the primary HR owner for Singapore, overseeing day-to-day people matters in compliance with local employment laws.
  • Ensure full compliance with MOM, TAFEP and Employment Act requirements.
  • Keep policies, contracts and the employee handbook current, clear and practical.

HR operations and team leadership

  • Oversee payroll, benefits, onboarding, offboarding and HR documentation with accuracy and discipline.
  • Manage and develop a direct report to ensure smooth, reliable HR operations.
  • Ensure strong joiner and leaver experiences across the employee lifecycle.

Employee relations and manager support

  • Lead employee relations matters with fairness, consistency and sound judgment.
  • Handle issues confidently, escalating high-risk or sensitive cases appropriately.
  • Advise managers at eye level on performance, conduct and people decisions.

Culture and employee experience

  • Drive engagement and communication efforts that help employees feel supported and informed.
  • Reinforce LionsBot's culture in a way that is grounded and appropriate for the Singapore context.

Global HR initiatives

  • Lead the rollout of HR systems and performance processes in Singapore.
  • Provide early local input to ensure global initiatives are practical and effective on the ground.
  • Help build HR foundations that can scale across countries over time.

What we're looking for

  • A proven track record leading HR operations and employee relations in Singapore, with strong working knowledge of local employment laws and practices.
  • Experience acting as a trusted HR partner or country-level HR lead in environments that value cost discipline, operational clarity and accountability.
  • Comfort working across diverse employee groups, from operators to engineers to corporate teams.
  • Hands-on experience improving HR processes, implementing systems and reducing manual work.
  • Clear communicator with sound judgment and the confidence to advise managers effectively.
