Job Description

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning HR strategies with business objectives to drive organizational success. This position combines strategic advisory and operational support, partnering closely with business leaders to deliver solutions in areas such as recruitment, talent management and employee engagement. The HRBP acts as a trusted advisor, ensuring HR initiatives are effectively implemented to maximize value for both employees and the organization.

Responsibilities:

HR Business Partnering

  • Provide support to recruitment activities & HR Business Partnering full spectrum functions including but not limited to job posting, candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, onboarding preparation, new staff orientation, employee relations including handling employee's disciplinary/ grievances, talent & development, & contract renewal
  • Managing the recruitment online portals, recruitment agencies, planning and executing recruitment campaigns / career fairs and developing effective candidates pipeline
  • Maintain good relationships with business units hiring managers and internal stakeholders to stay abreast of current/ future hiring and HR matters
  • Conducts regular meetings with respective business units
  • Consults with business units hiring managers, providing HR guidance when appropriate
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of Singapore Employment Law requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to business units hiring managers (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
  • Works closely with line management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation

Expatriates Management

  • To provide end-to-end support on expatriates on-boarding & off-boarding arrangement to CTC Singapore, including tenancy agreement
  • Work with Japan HR & Finance Team to process monthly billing statement to ensure on-time secondment fees payment processing

Campus Recruitment & Internship Initiatives

  • Partner with the higher learning institutions & universities for recruitment of interns, students, and recent graduates
  • Foster strong relationships with the institution, strengthen campus engagement & employer branding initiatives to create & build talent pipelines through campus recruitment/ internship program
  • Ensuring representation at campus recruitment events, developing and growing company branding on campus
  • Develop strategies and material to grow our employer brand that leverage on social media, career sites, networks, professional sites
  • Work with business unit hiring managers to define hiring needs and establish internship programs calendar
  • Responsible for the full spectrum of campus recruitment/internship program including, but not limited to managing the campus job portal, sourcing, screening, interview process management, creating, and extending offers, on-boarding and off-boarding of interns
  • Provide data metrics report if necessary

Other Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support on Human Resources (HR) projects and initiatives
  • Other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time
  • Ensure compliance local employment laws and regulations including ISO Audits compliance

Requirements:

  • Diploma/ Bachelor's degree or similar work experience required
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources field
  • Proven working experience as HR Business Partner or Talent Acquisition will be a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Meticulous, proactive, and good team player
