The HR Manager will oversee wide range of human resource functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and HR operations. This role requires strong knowledge of labour laws, HR policies, and HR systems, as well as proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Excel.
Duties to Be Performed:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, sourcing, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Coordinate with hiring managers on manpower requirements and selection decisions
Employee Relations & Communication
- Address employee queries and manage workplace grievances
- Facilitate effective communication between employees and management
- Support positive employee relations and resolve workplace issues in a timely manner
HR Administration & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, employment regulations, and company policies
- Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation accurately
- Manage HR policies and ensure consistent application across the organization
Work Pass & Foreign Employee Management
- Apply and manage working permits for foreign employees
- Ensure timely renewals and compliance with Ministry of Manpower requirements
HR Systems & Reporting
- Administer and maintain HR software systems
- Support HR data management and reporting using Microsoft Excel and HR tools
Training & Development
- Coordinate training programs and employee development initiatives
- Support learning and development plans to enhance employee performance
Payroll Support & Claims
- Review and verify employee monthly claims
- Support payroll-related data accuracy and HR inputs
Benefits & Insurance
- Administer employee benefits and insurance policies
- Coordinate and manage annual insurance renewal (e.g., medical, group insurance)
Year-End HR Administration
- Prepare employee personal income tax documentation (IR8A and related forms)
- Monitor and reconcile annual leave balances
- Prepare year-end project costing reports
Offboarding & Exit Management
- Manage employee resignation and termination processes
- Prepare IR21 tax clearance for foreign employees
- Conduct exit clearance, including handover, asset return, and system access removal
Audit & Compliance Support
- Assist in ISO annual audit and HR documentation compliance
- Ensure HR processes meet audit and regulatory requirements
Other Duties
- Perform ad-hoc HR tasks as assigned by management
Job / Skills Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
