Job Description
You are responsible for managing the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources department. Key areas of responsibility include policy and procedure compliance; maintaining confidential personnel files, employee relations and overall HR administration. In addition to remaining current with all of MOM's laws and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee all of the Human Resources department operations.
- Maintain positive working relationships with employees and the management team. Strengthen employee well-being and inclusivity through engagement activities.
- Manage HR administration and best practices.
- Adhere to Singapore government's legislation on Manpower.
- Effectively negotiate partnerships to deliver the most comprehensive and cost effective programmes, including maximising eligible government salary reimbursements and support schemes.
- Recruitment.
- Keep employees informed of HR policies, benefits, working conditions, learning opportunities, wellness initiatives and other employee programmes.
- Maintain and optimise the company's HRIS and identify opportunities for process automation and digitalisation.
- Maintain the benefits plan, liaise with insurers and support periodic review of compensation and benefits to ensure competitiveness, cost effectiveness and compliance.
- Manage employee-related matters, including employee engagement, retention, wellbeing, performance and development initiatives.
- Compile employee-related reports, metrics and HR dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
- Manage training needs of employees and upskilling of employees through subsidised courses and workshops offered by government agencies as part of employee development plan and accelerate company transformation.
- Prepare and conduct orientation and exit interviews.
- Maintain a wide variety of confidential employee information while adhering to strict data protection policy.
- Support employee requests on letters, contracts, status and promotions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Essential Requirements
- Human Resources Diploma, Degree or equivalent education and experience.
- 5 to 7 years of Human Resources or Administration experience.
- Ability to work well under pressure, individually and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships, internal and external to the organization.
- Strong knowledge of leave systems and internal controls.
