Job Description:
- Fleet Operations: Assist in overseeing the company's tug and barge fleet to ensure efficient, safe, and competitive operations by coordinating with all relevant parties
- Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure the fleet adheres to QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) systems and standards oversee safe practices on board, conduct vessel audits, gather safety data, analyze trends, and implement improved safety procedures
- ISO Compliance: Ensure both vessels and office operations conform to ISO system requirements and policies
- Manuals & Documentation: Maintain and update SMS (Safety Management System) and ISO manuals in accordance with current regulations and industry standards
- Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate and coordinate with internal teams-such as logistics, procurement, and upper management-to align with company objectives engage effectively with external entities like customers, regulatory bodies, port authorities, and suppliers. Facilitate integration across vessel-related departments including QHSE, operations, maintenance, supply chain, and crew management
- Administrative Responsibilities: Offer administrative support for implementing corrective actions and QHSE policies in vessel operations evaluate compliance of both onshore and offshore activities with operational standards, regulatory guidelines, and industry best practices
Requirements:
- Diploma in a Marine related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in offshore industry
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems in day-to-day use
