Job Summary
Manage HR functions across six childcare centres, leading recruitment, compliance, benefits administration, and reporting to support a nurturing educational environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment, selection, and screening processes to hire qualified staff for six childcare centres
- Monitor and track employees contract expiries, work permit expiries, and confirmation due dates to ensure timely renewals and compliance
- Maintain and update accurate staff personal files to support HR record-keeping and audits
- Prepare monthly HR reports to inform management decisions and track HR metrics
- Review and ensure HR policies and processes comply with statutory requirements and best practices
- Administer staff benefits including leave records, insurance claims, and medical claims to support employee welfare
- Coordinate work pass medical examinations and manage work pass processing and collection to maintain legal compliance
- Process training applications and file for training grants when required to support staff development
- Manage employee insurance claims efficiently to facilitate timely reimbursements
- Compile monthly relief staff timesheets accurately for payroll processing to ensure correct compensation
- Handle submission of government surveys and mandatory documentation to meet regulatory obligations
- Perform general HR administration including preparing appointment and confirmation letters to support onboarding and retention
- Process government-paid maternity leave and childcare leave reimbursements to ensure staff entitlements are met
- Execute ad-hoc HR duties as assigned to support operational needs
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of HR administration experience preferred
- Knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and HR-related practices preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and provide professional HR guidance preferred
- Availability to start work on short notice preferred
