HR Director for Singapore
The Frazer Jones team is partnering exclusively with a multinational organisation to appoint a HR Director, based in Singapore. This is a senior HR leadership role with accountability across Singapore, supporting an evolving business environment. This role would be relevant for a seasoned, commercially astute HR leader who is comfortable operating as a strategic HR Business Partner to senior management, while remaining closely connected to operational delivery, due to the current setup of the HR team structure. You will be supported by a direct report. This is a permanent, full‑time position based in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
You will be the key HR Business Partner to senior leaders in Singapore, advising on organisational, workforce, talent, and leadership topics. You will partner closely with HR stakeholders at the regional/global levels to ensure that HR initiatives are aligned with broader HR frameworks and priorities. On top of owning the full employee lifecycle, you will drive workforce planning, succession planning as well as organisation design to support business needs. A central focus will also be to strengthen performance management and career development frameworks, enabling leaders to build future-ready, high‑performing and resilient teams. The role will oversee HR policies and operations, ensuring local labour law compliance and market alignment, while managing employee relations / grievances as required.
Ideal Profile
As a point of reference, an indicative range of the years of experience required is about 12 to 15 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong track record as a HR Business Partner and/or HR Generalist. You will have experience supporting senior leaders in regional or global organisations and be comfortable operating in complex, matrixed environments.
While the remit is primarily Singapore‑focused, candidates with broader regional exposure are welcome to apply, provided they bring strong, in‑depth expertise in the Singapore employment market and are confident to take on a Singapore-centric role. Experience with supporting manufacturing or operational environments will be advantageous.
