They are seeking a commercially driven and hands-on Regional HR Director, APAC to shape their people agenda in APAC. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, this role is a key member of both the regional leadership team and the global HR function. Based in Singapore, this individual will be responsible for shaping and executing the regional people strategy, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives to drive performance, growth, and organizational effectiveness across APAC.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive APAC HR strategy aligned with global priorities and regional business goals
- Partner closely with senior stakeholders to drive workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategy
- Lead, coach, and develop a geographically dispersed HR team across the region
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, development, and retention
- Design and implement competitive and equitable compensation and benefits frameworks across multiple markets
- Drive leadership development, succession planning, and high-potential talent initiatives
- Champion employee engagement, culture, and employer branding across the region
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions
- Manage complex employee relations matters and serve as an escalation point for sensitive issues
- Lead organizational change and transformation initiatives in support of business priorities
- Oversee regional HR budgets, KPIs, and leverage data insights to inform decision-making
Requirements
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- 12-15 years of progressive HR experience across multiple areas, including talent management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and organizational development
- Proven track record of partnering with senior leadership in a regional or global environment
- Strong strategic and commercial mindset, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable HR strategies
- Experience operating in complex, multi-country environments
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage at executive level
- Data-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Demonstrated experience leading change and transformation initiatives
- Agile and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in dynamic environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
