About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on HR Executive to oversee day-to-day HR operations for our Singapore retail business. This role is responsible for end-to-end HR administration including work pass management, compliance matters, and employee lifecycle processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & HR Operations
Prepare employment contracts, HR letters, and maintain employee records
Manage onboarding and exit processes including documentation and system updates
Handle employee enquiries and provide HR support to operations teams
Support disciplinary processes where required
Work Pass Management
Handle foreign work pass applications, renewals and cancellations
Monitor work pass validity and quota utilisation
Liaise with MOM on manpower-related matters pertaining to work pass holders
Recruitment Coordination
Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings and interview arrangements
Screen applications and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
Insurance & Claims
Coordinate insurance matters for retail shops and employees
Liaise with insurance brokers and service providers
Monitor policy renewals and documentation
HR Compliance & Administration
Support government-related submissions (e.g., OED, surveys, reporting)
Maintain HR documentation and ensure compliance with local employment regulations
Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
Minimum 2 years HR experience
Familiar with MOM work pass application procedures
Good knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and MOM regulations
Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
Preferred
Experience in retail or F&B industry will be an advantage
Experience handling foreign workforce will be an advantage
