Hiring: Horticulture Manager (Town Council)
Salary: $4,200 - $4,800
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Horticulture Manager to oversee landscape and horticulture operations within the Town Council.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the General Manager on all horticulture and landscape matters
- Oversee maintenance of common property landscapes, ensuring they are well-maintained and serviceable
- Recommend and coordinate improvement works, including estate upgrading and beautification projects
- Lead and manage the horticulture team through supervision, training, and performance management
- Manage landscape and arboriculture contractors, ensuring quality, safety compliance, and adherence to contract requirements
- Implement tree risk management measures, conduct inspections, and handle emergency responses for hazardous trees
Requirements:
- Degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in horticulture and landscape management
