Job Responsibilities
- Shape and lead the overall advancement strategy, driving long-term philanthropic growth and meaningful external partnerships aligned with organisational priorities
- Build and deepen relationships with senior stakeholders across corporate, institutions, and high-net-worth networks to support sustained engagement and support
- Partner closely with internal leadership to translate strategic priorities into compelling engagement opportunities for donors and partners
- Oversee the development and execution of end-to-end engagement strategies, from cultivation through to stewardship, ensuring strong and lasting relationships
- Provide leadership to the advancement function, fostering a high-performing team and strengthening capabilities across partnerships, engagement, and fundraising initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum 20 years of experience across fundraising, advancement, strategic partnerships, business development, or stakeholder engagement within complex organisations
- Strong track record in building and managing senior relationships across corporate, institutions, or high-net-worth networks, including exposure to fundraising or partnership initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute long-term engagement or development strategies aligned to organisational priorities
- Proven leadership experience with the presence and credibility to influence senior stakeholders and drive outcomes
- Relevant professional certifications in fundraising or philanthropy (e.g. CFRE) or advanced qualifications will be advantageous
