Ethics and Compliance Counsel, Data Privacy
My client is a leading and growing Cargo handling firm and we are recruiting for an Ethics and Compliance Counsel to be based in the Singapore office. You will be given the opportunity to support the business on all compliance and data privacy related matters in the region, and work closely with stakeholders in the market. This is a new role where you will be able to drive data compliance matters moving forward.
Responsibilities
- Handle data governance processes, third-party due diligence, and incident management.
- Skilled in managing anti-bribery and trade sanctions procedures, including audits and ISO 37001 certification.
- Able to design and deliver compliance training programs across formats
Requirements
- Bachelor&aposs degree in law or equivalent law qualification is preferred
- 5-8 years&apos experience in compliance or regulatory roles, covering areas like anti-bribery, trade sanctions, data protection, and ethics.
- Familiarity with laws and regulations in Singapore, US, UK, and EU; SGX mainboard rules knowledge is a plus.
- Independent, collaborative, and open to learning new compliance areas.
