Our client is a Global MNC, one of the leading players in the Freight Forwarding sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Regional QHSE & Compliance Manager to be part of their QSHE team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the East - easily accessible.
The Regional QHSE & Compliance Manager&aposs responsible are:
- Lead QHSE management systems across Singapore and Malaysia, ensuring compliance with local regulations, ISO standards, and corporate policies.
- Drive safety culture, conduct audits/inspections, and manage incident investigations with corrective action plans.
- Oversee import/export compliance, including customs regulations, sanctions, and international trade laws, while advising leadership on compliance risks.
- Manage subcontractor portfolio covering trucking, transportation, and cargo handling vendors, including procurement, contracts, and audits.
- Lead and develop a team of QHSE and trade compliance professionals, set KPIs, and promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with authorities, industry bodies, and internal stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Min Degree and above
- Min 5 years QSHE experience in a leadership role in logistics / supply chain industry
- Well-versed in safety, environmental, and trade compliance regulations in Singapore and Malaysia
