Position Overview
The Head of IT & Cybersecurity will lead the company's technology strategy, infrastructure, and cyber defense functions to ensure secure, resilient, and scalable operations. This individual will be responsible for overseeing IT governance, driving digital transformation initiatives, and safeguarding the firm's data, trading systems, and client information in line with global regulatory and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute the company's IT and cybersecurity strategy to support business growth and operational efficiency.
- Lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications across the firm.
- Drive technology innovation to enhance investment platforms, trading systems, and data analytics capabilities.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, technology partners, and service providers.
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity framework, policies, and procedures in compliance with MAS and international regulatory standards.
- Oversee proactive threat monitoring, incident detection, and response strategies.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and cybersecurity audits.
- Support ad-hoc activities as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive IT and cybersecurity experience
- Proven expertise in cybersecurity strategy, governance, and incident response.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, data management, and trading/investment systems.
