Head of Fund Accounting and Client Reporting APAC, Global Asset Management

A leading global asset management firm is looking to hire in the APAC team. You will be responsible for the following:

• Lead and manage a team of fund accountants, setting objectives, and ensuring high standards of work quality and risk management.
• Liaise with various stakeholders, including clients, auditors, and internal departments like tax and valuation, to address needs and resolve issues.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls, monitor regulatory changes, and ensure all fund accounting activities comply with applicable accounting standards and legal requirements
• Drive change initiatives, identify opportunities for operational efficiencies, and contribute to system enhancements and the development of new services.

Bachelor with 18+ years of work experience working in a fund administrator or asset management firm. Strong understanding of fund structures, transfer agency, fund accounting, custody services, and regulatory obligations in APAC markets. Good people and stakeholder management skills.
