We are supporting a global infrastructure fund who is looking for a senior leader to join as the Head of Asset Management in Singapore. This individual will be responsible for maximising financial performance across the firm's infrastructure portfolio in Asia. The ideal candidate will bring deep analytical capability, strong financial orientation, and hands-on execution skills, with the ability to partner closely with portfolio companies and the investment team to drive value creation initiatives across diverse infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead asset management strategy to deliver superior financial and strategic outcomes across the portfolio companies.
- Track and analyse financial KPIs to ensure assets perform in line with business plans and fund objectives.
- Drive initiatives around capital structure optimisation, refinancing, and growth strategies to enhance returns.
- Engage directly with investment team and portfolio company's leadership on strategic and financial performance improvement.
- Oversee preparation of portfolio reviews, dashboards, and reporting for senior management and investors.
- Participate in governance through board seats, ensuring alignment of management with fund objectives.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering an analytical and performance-driven culture.
- Offer insights from portfolio performance and market dynamics to support fund-level investment strategy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- MBA or other postgraduate degree is strongly preferred. Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) will be an advantage.
- At least 15 years of experience in infrastructure investment, private equity, project finance, or related fields.
- Familiarity with M&A and financing workstreams candidates who have closed multiple transactions and financing cases will be highly regarded.
- Strong track record in investment banking, Big 4 deals advisory, or project finance, with transition into PE/infrastructure asset management.
- Exceptional analytical and financial skills, with demonstrated ability to interpret and improve asset performance.
- Hands-on executor who can translate strategy into measurable financial outcomes.
- Regional experience across Asia in infrastructure sectors (energy, transport, utilities, digital infrastructure).
- Familiarity with ESG frameworks and regulatory compliance is advantageous but not essential.
- Collaborative, non-hierarchical, and able to influence stakeholders effectively.
