Head of Business Development

We're hiring a Head of Business Development for a high-performance algorithmic trading firm operating across global financial markets.

Role overview

As Head of Business Development, you'll lead expansion initiatives and help grow the firm's core trading business across multiple regions.

What you'll work on

• Identifying and evaluating new business opportunities in global markets
• Bringing in teams or individuals aligned with a quantitative trading approach
• Driving market entry and growth strategies in partnership with trading and internal teams
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with exchanges, prime brokers, regulators, and key market participants
• Leading exchange memberships, onboarding, and launch of new trading desks
• Providing strategic input across trading, clearing, and settlement processes
• Tracking regulatory changes, market trends, and competitive developments
• Ensuring strong cross-functional alignment as the business scales

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in business development or exchange-facing roles within a brokerage or trading firm
• Trading exposure or a strong understanding of quantitative trading
• Solid understanding of global markets and regulatory environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
• Strategic thinker with a proactive, execution-focused mindset
