The Head of Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building strategic partnerships for a management consultancy specializing in immigration services and business expansion into South East Asia. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, overseeing client acquisition, key accounts, and business growth initiatives across corporate, investor, and high-net-worth segments.
Develop and execute the firm's business development strategy aligned with growth targets
Identify new revenue streams, market segments, and service offerings related to immigration, corporate structuring, and Singapore market entry
Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities in Singapore and the region
Lead client acquisition efforts for corporate immigration, business incorporation, relocation, and expansion advisory services
Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, entrepreneurs, investors, and family offices
Oversee proposal development, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations
Establish and manage strategic partnerships with law firms, banks, tax advisors, real estate firms, and government-related entities
Represent the firm at industry events, networking forums, and international business missions
Collaborate with overseas partners to attract inbound clients to Singapore
Own revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and conversion metrics
Track and report business development performance to senior management
Ensure high client satisfaction and repeat business
8-12+ years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial leadership
Proven background in management consultancy, professional services, immigration, corporate services, or business advisory
Strong understanding of Singapore's business environment, immigration frameworks, and regulatory landscape
Strong commercial acumen and deal-closing capability
Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability
Fluent in both English and Chinese
Strong presentation, communication, and proposal-writing skill
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, Economics, or a related field
MBA or relevant professional qualifications are an advantage
