Job Description

About the Client:

Our client is a fast-growing, multi-brand consumer platform operating across lifestyle categories, with established businesses spanning digital commerce and omnichannel retail channels. Backed by experienced shareholders, the group has built strong foundations and is now entering its next phase of structured growth, integration, and regional expansion.

They are now seeking a Group CEO to lead the platform, with full ownership of strategy, performance, and execution across the portfolio, and a mandate to scale the business into a more integrated and disciplined operating model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Group P&L Ownership & Strategic Leadership: Assume full accountability for group-wide performance, driving revenue growth, margin expansion, and capital efficiency across multiple business units.
  • Multi-Business Platform Management: Oversee and optimise different operating models across the portfolio, ensuring effective resource allocation while building a cohesive and scalable platform.
  • Growth & Channel Strategy: Define and execute growth strategies across direct-to-consumer, marketplaces, and retail channels, optimising channel mix and driving sustainable customer acquisition and retention.
  • Operational Excellence & Supply Chain: Strengthen end-to-end operations across sourcing, inventory management, fulfilment, and logistics to improve efficiency, scalability, and working capital discipline.
  • Brand, Product & Commercial Optimisation: Guide brand positioning, product strategy, and merchandising to enhance differentiation, increase customer lifetime value, and drive repeat purchase behaviour.
  • Organisation Building & Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing leadership team, introducing structure, governance, and performance management frameworks while preserving entrepreneurial agility.
  • Stakeholder Management & Alignment: Partner closely with shareholders and key stakeholders, aligning on strategic direction while maintaining a pragmatic, execution-focused approach.
  • Investor Readiness & Value Creation: Operate effectively within an investor-led environment, driving KPI discipline, reporting rigour, and value creation initiatives, with potential involvement in fundraising or strategic transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related discipline; MBA is advantageous.
  • 15+ years of senior leadership experience within consumer, lifestyle, or multi-brand platforms, with a proven track record of scaling businesses across digital and omnichannel environments.
  • Prior experience operating within a PE-backed, investor-led, or high-growth environment is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership at a senior level (CEO / GM / Regional Head), with experience managing complex, multi-entity or multi-category businesses.
  • Strong operational leadership with hands-on execution capability across commercial, supply chain, and organisational dimensions.
  • Deep understanding of e-commerce, marketplaces, and omnichannel retail dynamics, with the ability to balance growth velocity and operational discipline.
  • Highly commercial, data-driven, and comfortable making decisions in fast-paced, evolving environments.

  • High stakeholder intelligence, with the ability to engage founders, investors, and senior operators
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and scaling businesses through different growth phases
  • Strong cross-cultural awareness, with experience operating in regional or international markets
