Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on General Manager to oversee the overall operations, business performance, clinic management, marketing and administrative management of our clinic group. The successful candidate will work closely with the management team and clinic teams to ensure smooth daily operations, service excellence, compliance with internal procedures, business growth and brand development.
This role is suitable for a candidate with strong leadership skills, healthcare or clinic operations experience, marketing and business management exposure, and the ability to manage both operational and business priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic group to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Work closely with clinic managers, doctors, therapists, nurses, front desk and administrative teams.
- Review and improve clinic processes, patient flow, appointment scheduling and service standards.
- Ensure clinics are properly staffed, equipped and maintained for daily operations.
- Monitor operational issues and resolve matters promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with supervisors and team leads to ensure proper supervision, reporting and operational support across the clinic group.
Business, Marketing and Performance Management
- Support the management team in driving business growth, revenue targets, marketing plans and service performance.
- Monitor clinic performance, sales reports, patient feedback, marketing results and operational KPIs.
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to improve clinic visibility, patient engagement and brand positioning.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement suitable action plans.
- Assist in planning and executing business strategies for clinic expansion, service improvement and customer retention.
- Review cost control, manpower planning and resource allocation to improve efficiency.
- Support long-term business planning and organisational development for the clinic group.
People Management
- Lead, guide and motivate clinic staff to achieve operational, service and business goals.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, staff performance review and manpower planning.
- Handle staff matters in a fair and professional manner.
- Promote teamwork, accountability and a positive working culture across the clinic group.
- Work with supervisors and department leads to strengthen staff performance, service quality and operational standards.
Customer Service and Patient Experience
- Ensure a high standard of patient care, customer service and professional conduct.
- Review patient feedback and complaints, and follow up with appropriate service recovery actions.
- Work with the team to improve patient experience and service quality.
- Ensure front-line staff maintain professional communication with patients and visitors.
Compliance and Administration
- Ensure clinic operations comply with company policies, regulatory requirements and relevant healthcare standards.
- Maintain proper documentation, reporting and administrative records.
- Liaise with external vendors, suppliers, service providers and relevant authorities when required.
- Support management in audits, inspections, licensing matters and internal compliance reviews.
- Ensure proper reporting to management on clinic operations, manpower, business performance and marketing-related matters.
Career Development
- The successful candidate will be given the General Manager title and will have opportunities to take on broader leadership responsibilities as the clinic group grows.
- The role may provide progression opportunities towards senior management or executive-level responsibilities, subject to business needs, individual performance and management's assessment.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Operations Management, Marketing or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant management experience, preferably in healthcare, medical, aesthetic, wellness, hospitality, retail or service-related industries.
- Prior experience managing clinic operations, multi-outlet operations, marketing or business development will be an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage teams, operational matters, marketing activities and business priorities independently.
- Good understanding of customer service standards, operational efficiency and business performance.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle confidential matters professionally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with reports, data tracking and administrative systems.
Other Information
- Monthly salary is inclusive of AWS.
- Bonus or incentive, if any, will be subject to company performance and management's discretion.
- Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.
