Job Summary
We seek dedicated Funeral Associates to execute funeral services with care and professionalism, supporting grieving families and ensuring smooth, respectful ceremonies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up and breaking down funeral venues, arranging floral displays and ceremonial items to create a respectful environment
- Manage transportation logistics for the deceased between locations to ensure timely and dignified transfers
- Deliver compassionate, respectful support to grieving families to ease their experience during difficult times
- Support funeral services by guiding attendees and assisting with ceremonial duties to maintain smooth proceedings
- Maintain and prepare funeral service equipment and vehicles to ensure readiness and safety
- Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations throughout funeral operations
- Execute additional duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of funeral services
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Prior experience in funeral services or related fields is advantageous
- Possession of a valid driver's license is beneficial for transportation responsibilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet service demands
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
- High level of empathy, compassion, and professionalism to support families and colleagues
