Job Description
- Transport and reposition empty containers between PSA ports, container depots, and customer locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, tyres, lights, twist locks, trailer condition)
- Handle twist lock operations and trailer adjustments to secure containers safely
- Ensure compliance with port regulations (PSA), LTA traffic rules, and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) standards
- Submit and maintain accurate delivery orders, POD, and trip records
- Report vehicle defects, near misses, or incidents promptly
- Coordinate with operations team on job assignments and scheduling
Requirements
- Valid Singapore Class 4 or Class 5 Driving Licence
- Preferably 1-2 years of prime mover / container trucking experience
- Familiar with PSA port operations and depot procedures (advantage)
- Physically fit to perform basic manual handling (twist locks, trailer checks)
- Good safety attitude and compliance mindset
- Able to work on weekends, and public holidays
