Biofuel / Crude Oil Operator

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Operations Executive to support biofuel trading activities. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth execution of cargo operations, logistics coordination, and compliance within a fast-paced oil & gas trading environment.

THE ROLE

Manage end-to-end cargo operations, including quantity and quality (Q&Q) control, vessel operations, and inspections

Coordinate loading and discharging activities across tankers, container vessels, and trucking

Handle vessel vetting, demurrage claims, and cargo insurance matters

Review and troubleshoot Letters of Credit (LCs) and shipping documentation

Oversee biofuel operations, including storage management, inventory control, and demand forecasting

Coordinate logistics for import/export and domestic shipments

Ensure accurate handling of shipment documentation, customs clearance, and transportation arrangements

Manage issuance and verification of Proof of Sustainability (POS) documentation for ISCC compliance

Support blending operations, including component evaluation, sampling, testing, and documentation

Maintain and update operational data and internal systems

Perform additional ad hoc duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university

3-7 years of experience in an oil & gas trading environment, with hands-on exposure to cargo and vessel operations

Familiarity with biofuels or edible oil shipments is preferred

Working knowledge of maritime law and trade documentation

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Independent, proactive, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills
