Job Title: Financial Director

Job Overview:
We are looking for a strategic, experienced Financial Director to join our leadership team. The Financial Director will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization, providing key insights and financial guidance to support decision-making, and ensuring the overall financial performance aligns with the company's goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the company.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to improve profitability, manage risk, and support business growth.
- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, reports, and tax filings in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and financial performance to ensure financial sustainability.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the executive team on financial and operational improvements.
- Ensure effective internal controls, financial reporting, and risk management practices are in place across the organization.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including department heads and external auditors, to ensure alignment with company objectives and compliance.
- Lead and manage the finance team, providing mentorship and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Stay up to date on financial regulations, market trends, and industry developments that could impact the business.
- Oversee financial audits and ensure timely and accurate completion of audit processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or professional certifications like CPA, CFA are preferred).
- At least 8-10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of financial management and accounting principles, practices, and regulations (Singapore and international standards).
- Strong experience with financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent knowledge of financial software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive actionable insights from financial data.
- Experience in managing large-scale financial teams and leading change initiatives.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the financial sector, or experience with M&A, corporate restructuring, or international finance.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
