Tasks and Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of 4 or more
- Oversee the Accounts Payable function, including overseeing Malaysia shared service team and ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations
- Monitor and manage the company's cash flow position and working capital requirements
- Review cash flow forecasts and ensure adequate liquidity for operations
- Coordinate with management on cash planning and treasury-related activities
- Oversee the fixed assets register and ensure proper capitalization, depreciation, and disposal processes
- Liaise with auditors and tax agents
- Support ad-hoc projects
- Ad hoc assignment assigned.
Job Requirements
- Min 6-8 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably in a regional or multinational environment
- Proficient in MS Excel and Words
- Experience in managing a team
- Experience in SAP will be advantage
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls
