Our client is a fast-growing multinational leader in the medical device sector, dedicated to advancing healthcare through cutting-edge technology and innovation. They are seeking an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to oversee the finance operations across the Southeast Asia region, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting as the business expands.
Lead month-end and year-end closing across multiple SEA entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with corporate and statutory requirements.
Manage inventory accounting, cost of goods sold, and reconciliation processes in coordination with regional supply chain teams.
Prepare and review regional financial reports, providing insights and variance analysis to support strategic decisions.
Oversee tax filing, GST/VAT submissions, and liaise with local tax advisors to ensure compliance with local regulations.
Partner with both local business units and corporate finance on audits, forecasting, and process improvements.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum 5-8 years of accounting experience, ideally in a regional or manufacturing environment.
Detail-oriented
Familiarity with SAP system
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across countries and cultures.
