Job Responsibilities
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for the entity and selected subsidiaries/SPVs
Prepare management accounting reports and conduct budget vs. actual analysis
Lead annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes
Address accounting matters in accordance with IFRS, including PPA, equity method accounting, and impairment assessments
Establish and continuously improve internal control processes
Manage transfer pricing documentation and related policies
Liaise with external tax advisors and coordinate tax-related matters
Manage cash flow and liquidity across multiple currencies
Oversee online banking operations, including payment/approval workflows and user access controls
Execute and approve payments, and optimize foreign exchange and bank charges
Lead statutory and group audit processes from planning through completion
Handle various compliance checks and internal audit engagements
Act as a key point of contact with external auditors and consultants
Prepare materials for Board and shareholder meetings and manage meeting minutes
Manage corporate secretarial matters, including company registration and statutory filings
Support the implementation and operation of internal policies and governance standards
Provide accounting and tax support for new investment projects
Review investment structures and financial models
Support the establishment and administration of investment SPVs
- At least 7 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
Accounting, finance, or controllership roles in a multinational environment
Practical experience at an audit or tax firm followed by finance experience in a corporate setting
Practical knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and IFRS
Basic understanding of Singapore corporate tax and transfer pricing principles
Hands-on experience with monthly closing, audit coordination, and online banking operations
Experience working with external service providers, such as audit firms, tax advisors, corporate secretarial firms, and banks
Business-level proficiency in Japanese to communicate internally and externally

- Salary: S$10,000-15,000 (depends on experience)
