Evo Commerce owns a few CPG brands focusing on high quality supplements. We're currently operating in 3 markets and our team members are based out of Singapore. We have past experience working in big tech companies which includes Grab, Tiktok, Zalora, FoodPanda, Fave, Shopee, etc.

Our hero product, bback (previously known as Bounceback), is currently one of the fastest growing CPG brands in SEA and is loved by bankers, traders, influencers and bartenders with a high efficacy rate against hangover post drinking. Our aim is to become the Redbull of hangover recovery, making hangover remedies accessible to drinkers worldwide. This means commerce and information are more efficient, and the implication to the end customer is that product quality goes up and cost of goods are reduced drastically. We're seeking a Finance Manager to lead the transformation of Finance from a transactional reporting function into a high-discipline, system-driven, business-partnering engine.

This role will oversee financial reporting integrity, close discipline, internal controls, MIS visibility, and finance operations scalability across markets, channels, and acquisitions. The Controller will play a critical role in strengthening governance, accelerating financial close, enhancing outlet/channel profitability visibility, and ensuring capital readiness as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Close Excellence

  • Preparation for IPO Readiness
  • Lead monthly close process with target close within 10 working days
  • Enforce strict cut-off discipline and ownership structure
  • Ensure period-on-period comparability
  • Deliver structured variance analysis vs budget and targets
  • Improve outlet-level and channel-level profitability reporting

2. MIS & Performance Visibility

  • Establish single source of truth MIS across markets and channels
  • Standardise CM2 / CM3 / CM4 definitions and margin benchmarks
  • Develop outlet-level profitability and payback tracking
  • Support pricing, promo ROI, and channel mix analytics
  • Provide decision-grade insights before commercial decisions are made

3. Finance Operations & Internal Controls

  • Strengthen cash handling and reconciliation processes
  • Tighten inventory movement, shrinkage and write-off controls
  • Establish watertight SOPs and approval workflows
  • Ensure segregation of duties and accountability frameworks
  • Minimise financial leakage and margin erosion

4. Systems & Automation (NetSuite)

  • Accelerate NetSuite integration and automation
  • Standardise chart of accounts
  • Drive automated postings and reconciliations
  • Reduce manual workarounds
  • Build scalable finance infrastructure

5. Working Capital & Liquidity Oversight

  • Monitor cash runway and liquidity planning
  • Finance 2026
  • Oversee RCF utilisation and financing structure
  • Conduct downside stress testing
  • Support capital allocation discipline

6. Acquisition & Integration Support

  • Ensure Day 1 MIS readiness post-acquisition
  • Align reporting definitions and metrics
  • Integrate systems and reporting structures
  • Preserve visibility and control during integration

7. Team Leadership

  • Oversee finance operations team
  • Clarify roles between transactional accounting and control function
  • Build finance business partnering capability
  • Drive culture of discipline, accountability and analytical rigor

Requirements:

  • 6-10+ years experience in finance/accounting
  • Experience in multi-outlet retail, FMCG, or consumer business preferred
  • Strong systems experience (NetSuite or equivalent ERP)
  • Proven ability to shorten close cycles and implement controls
  • Strong analytical capability (outlet/channel economics)
  • Comfortable operating in scaling, high-growth environment
  • High integrity and strong governance mindset
