We are seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on Finance Executive to support daily accounting operations in a fast-growing rebar steel reinforcement and building materials environment with MNC-level practices.
This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Production, Procurement, Sales, and Operations, supporting financial processes across manufacturing and project-based activities. You will gain exposure to a full set accounting, cost control, inventory management, and ERP/MES systems, while contributing to financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Handle a full spectrum of accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL)
- Manage end-to-end processes, including billing, vendor invoice verification, expense claims, coding, approval workflows, and payment execution
- Ensure all accounting activities comply with internal controls, corporate policies, and MNC reporting standards
- Perform sub-ledger to general ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Monitor AR/AP aging, follow up on outstanding balances, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Support month-end and year-end closing, including preparation of financial schedules, reports, and audit documentation
- Assist in inventory accounting and cost tracking, including coordination with production and procurement teams on material usage, wastage, and cost accuracy
- Support cash flow planning and monitoring, ensuring efficient working capital management
- Prepare and support documentation for GST filing and statutory compliance
- Participate in ERP/MES system processes, including data validation, system integration support, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) where required
- Collaborate with the Finance Manager to enhance internal controls, financial processes, and risk management practices
- Support external audits, tax matters, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Perform ad-hoc duties and finance-related projects as assigned
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing, construction, or building materials industry
- Familiar with full set accounting and month-end closing processes
- Experience in ERP systems (e.g., SAP or similar MNC systems)
- Exposure to inventory and cost accounting will be an advantage
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
