We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Executive (PT) to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in finance and accounting and possess a strong understanding of financial principles and practices. This role is a part time maternity cover position between 5 to 6 months (2-3 times work week).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, and intercompany billings/recharge.
2. Preparing and maintaining financial records, including ledgers, journals, financial statements, and cash flow monitoring.
3. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
4. Assist in financial analysis and reporting on variances.
5. Prepare month-end data, and forecast inputs for Group Financial system upload.
6. Perform monthly billing audits.
7. Assisting with GST filing, audits and tax preparation.
8. Providing support for day-to-day financial operations, and ad-hoc projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
3. Proficiency in accounting software (Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
6. Ability to adhere to and meet due dates and objectives
7. Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
8. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
