We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Facilities Manager to lead the operations of our manufacturing site. This role is ideal for someone with experience managing both hard and soft services, and who thrives in a fast-paced, scalable environment.
Your new role
- Manage day to day operations of the plant's infrastructure, including buildings, utilities, security, and equipment.
- Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure minimal downtime.
- Oversee vendor contracts and service providers (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing, janitorial).
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire safety regulations.
- Handle complaints tactfully and maintain high service standards across the site.
- Support sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency improvements.
- Prepare and manage facilities budgets and capital projects.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree or Diploma in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in site-based manufacturing environments.
- Proven people management experience, including leading teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills - able to communicate tactfully, resolve issues diplomatically, and build rapport across internal and external stakeholders.
- FSM (Fire Safety Manager) certification is a bonus.
