Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist to prepare all aspects of procurement solicitations for formal inquiries that include terms and conditions, scope of work, insurance and bonding requirements, and compliance with safety and government regulations.
- Participate in bids openings evaluate bids and proposals to determine low bid assure selection in accordance with established criteria assure full competition and documentation of actions issues award letters or contracts.
- Assist to negotiate with suppliers to establish price, delivery schedule, quantity, payment, scope of work, change orders source for new suppliers determine the validity of sole supplier and procurement procedure.
- Assist to liaise between vendors and department heads for procurement procedures, order status, and problem resolution and advise cost effective alternatives to departments.
- Assist to resolve problems related to procurement such as bid disputes and vendor's protests to conform to contract law and required legal regulations.
- Assist to maintain records in accordance with established policies and procedures and audit guidelines.
- Assist in complex procurements and also coordinate multiple projects for specialized services, huge in scope, or participate to support the acquisition of major equipment.
- Carry out any other duties as and when requested by immediate Supervisor or higher management.
Job Requirement:
- Diploma in Engineering or its equivalent, preferably with Supply Chain Management of equivalent certification
- Possess One (1) or Two (2) years related experience in the Petrochemical Plant, Oil Refinery or Pharmaceutical Industry
- Proficient in MS Office application
- Meticulous, resourceful and able to work independent
- Good organizing skill and inter-personal skill. Fresh graduate also welcome.
