Job Description

Executive Director / Director (Space Master Planning), CSPO (MX8)

Role Overview
We are looking for a leader to drive the strategic planning and development of facilities and asset management strategies to support research and office space needs. The role involves developing long-term space master plans and infrastructure renewal strategies, supported by market and financial analysis, while working closely with stakeholders to ensure a sustainable workplace. It also oversees space-related projects to ensure delivery within scope, quality, budget, and timelines, including smooth transition into operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop long-term space plans and utilisation strategies across the organization's space portfolio, aligned with research and growth needs
  • Development & Project Management: Lead construction and refurbishment projects, ensuring delivery within scope, quality, budget, and timelines
  • Oversee safety, compliance, and quality assurance across all projects
  • Compliance & Regulations: Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Conduct site assessments to identify optimization opportunities across the portfolio
  • Stakeholder Management & Implementation: Collaborate with stakeholders to align requirements and ensure smooth implementation of space plans
  • Space Optimization & Standardization: Drive space standardization and identify opportunities to improve utilisation and efficiency
  • Cost & Performance Management: Ensure alignment with budget requirements and track performance of implemented strategies for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in construction management and/or asset portfolio management
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) with at least 7 years of experience preferred
  • Experience in R&D space planning is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, technologies, and contract interpretation
  • Familiarity with local building codes and construction processes
  • Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and a highly self-driven, meticulous, and strong multitasker.

Other Information

  • Work Location: West-Central, Singapore
  • Job Type: Contract - 3 Years (Extendable)
  • Salary Range: S$12,000 - S$22,000
  • Benefits: Entitled to annual increment, benefits, and bonuses during the contract duration.
  • Working Hours: Mon-Thu: 8:30am-6:00pm Fri: 8:30am-5:30pm
