DORS, the retail showcase located at level one of Design Orchard and situated in the centre of Orchard Road, provides a physical retail space for new and emerging designers, at the renowned shopping belt of Singapore. It has the largest collection of locally based designer brands in Singapore.
The Cocoon Space (TCS), offers creative co-working and event space housed on level 2 and rooftop of Design Orchard.
Job Summary
This dual-track role provides an exciting balance between Executive Office support to the CEO and Partnerships & Engagement responsibilities. The incumbent will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the CEOs office through calendar, travel, and administrative management, while also driving member relations, council liaison, and partnership initiatives. The role offers unique exposure to leadership decision-making and direct engagement with industry stakeholders, making it an ideal opportunity for a dynamic and motivated professional.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Office & CEO Support (50%)
- Manage the CEOs calendar, travel arrangements, meeting schedules, and expense claims to ensure efficiency and prioritization.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the CEO, council members, and key stakeholders, ensuring timely communication and follow-up.
- Prepare meeting materials, reports, presentations, and correspondence for the CEO.
- Organize and coordinate council meetings, including preparation of agendas, papers, minutes, and action tracking.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the CEO, including ad hoc errands and logistical tasks.
- Support the CEO in managing strategic projects, initiatives, and events.
- Handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
Partnerships & Membership Engagement (50%)
- Manage member relations, including inquiries, applications, onboarding, renewals, and coordination with Finance for billing.
- Cultivate new members and prospects through outreach, networking, and events, meeting performance targets for acquisition and satisfaction.
- Maintain and update CRM records; prepare timely reports and insights based on member interactions.
- Assist in planning and executing community engagement initiatives, outreach activities, and industry events.
- Support partnership engagements, liaising with business units and partners to ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
- Represent SFC at events (online and in person) to network and build relationships with members and partners.
- Contribute to the development of membership processes, policies, and engagement frameworks.
Requirements & Competencies
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related discipline.
- 34 years of experience in a dual-role capacity (Executive Assistant, Partnerships, Stakeholder Engagement, or similar).
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with proven ability to manage executive calendars and complex logistics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident in engaging with senior stakeholders and external partners.
- High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism in handling sensitive matters.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with CRM systems and design tools (Canva, Photoshop) is a plus.
- Knowledge of social media, membership engagement, and direct marketing campaigns.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to generate insights from data and reporting.
- Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable, with strong initiative and accountability.
- Genuine interest in fashion, design, and community engagement.
