Looking for someone who can take ownership of an outdoor event from the ground up — handling permits, cost planning, and partnerships — and bring it to life.
⸻
Your Role
You will act as the operational backbone of the event, ensuring all moving parts are handled properly and professionally.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Permits & Compliance
• Identify all required permits and licenses for outdoor events in Singapore
• Liaise with relevant authorities (e.g. NEA, SCDF, Police, Town Council, etc.)
• Prepare and submit applications, ensuring full compliance
• Manage timelines and approvals end-to-end
2. Costing & Budget Control
• Build a detailed event budget from scratch
• Source quotations from vendors (tentage, power, logistics, security, etc.)
• Compare options and optimise for cost vs quality
• Track and manage expenses throughout the project
3. Vendor & Site Coordination
• Plan site layout and operational flow
• Coordinate with vendors on setup, teardown, and logistics
• Ensure smooth execution on event day
4. Partnerships & Vendor Outreach
• Source and secure relevant vendors/exhibitors for the event
• Explore partnership opportunities (brands, sponsors, collaborators)
• Structure simple commercial deals (booth fees, commissions, etc.)
5. Execution
• Be present (or accountable) on event day to ensure everything runs as planned
• Troubleshoot issues in real-time and maintain overall control
⸻
Who This Is For
• Someone who has hands-on experience running outdoor or large-scale events
• Strong understanding of Singapore's event permit and compliance landscape
• Commercially aware — able to think in terms of cost, margins, and revenue
• Resourceful and well-connected with vendors and partners
• Able to operate independently and take full ownership
⸻
What We're Looking For
• Proven track record in event operations or production
• Experience dealing with permits and government agencies
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Structured, detail-oriented, and execution-focused
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, founder-led environment
⸻
Project Scope
• Initial: One pilot event (with clear budget and targets)
• Potential to expand into a recurring event series if successful
