We are seeking an exceptional Event Manager / Producer to join our team at Motion, dedicated to orchestrating unforgettable experiences. Working with the Head of Client Experience as the primary architect of our events, you will oversee every aspect from inception to execution, ensuring seamless delivery and exceeding client expectations.

Job Description:

To perform effectively as Event Manager / Producer, you will need to:

. be resourceful, independent and possess good time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously,

. work together with the Producers and report directly to the Head of Client Experience,

. source and work with all levels of partners to deliver the best options to meet project objectives

. manage development of projects from conception to completion ensuring that they are delivered on time, and to the highest standard possible within the budget given.

. manage the financial aspects of the project, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints, which includes forecasting and tracking expenditures, overseeing invoices, proposals, and expenses.

. work with the team to handle pre-production, production, and post-production phases, maintaining quality and efficiency throughout.

. develop and maintain realistic timelines, meticulously managing project schedules.

. have a good track record of managing events up to $500,000

You possess the following skillset, mindset and heartset.

With the right skillsets, you:

. possess the relevant Diploma or Degree

. must have at least 6 years of experience in an events agency and at least 3 years of experience as a project lead

. have a proven track record in project managing an event from start to finish with good profitability and high-level of client satisfaction

. have excellent verbal and written communication skills

. have a good working knowledge of using Microsoft or Google Suite of services/apps, additional knowledge in mainstream apps, such as Photoshop, Illustrator or AutoCAD is a plus

. have a good sense and understanding of the MICE landscape in Singapore with good knowledge of event venues and event logistics

. have good interpersonal skills to build and develop good relationships with partners

. have a good knowledge in conference/show production

. are organised, responsible and have great attention to detail

. Have experience in drafting cue sheets, emcee scripts and production schedule.

. Capacity to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines.

. Thorough and meticulous in approach, ensuring no detail goes overlooked.
