About Our Client

Our client is a leading regional developer specializing in sustainable, modern logistics properties built to the highest international standards. Their developments integrate advanced automation and robotics to deliver optimized logistics solutions tailored to today's fast‑evolving supply chain needs.

They are currently delivering an automated warehouse development incorporating an Automated Storage & Retrieval System (ASRS) and are seeking a capable Senior Project Manager / Project Manager to lead site execution through to completion and handover.

About the Role

This role is responsible for managing the on‑site delivery of an ASRS automated warehouse project, with strong focus on M&E coordination, work sequencing, and specialist system integration. The successful candidate will work closely with the Main Contractor, M&E trades, ASRS vendor, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all site‑based project activities for the ASRS automated warehouse development.
  • Coordinate internal teams, Main Contractor, consultants, specialists, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Lead work sequencing and coordination discussions between the ASRS contractor and Main Contractor.
  • Oversee interfaces between structural works, M&E installations, and ASRS systems.
  • Ensure contractors and specialists comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Identify project risks and technical issues early and implement effective mitigation measures.
  • Drive on‑site problem‑solving and decision‑making to prevent delays and cost overruns.
  • Facilitate and chair site meetings, inspections, coordination sessions, and technical workshops.
  • Prepare regular progress reports, updates, and presentations for management.
  • Ensure all project documentation is maintained accurately for record‑keeping and compliance.
  • Verify that all deliverables meet tender specifications and company quality standards.
  • Lead testing, commissioning, and handover to Facilities Management, including O&M manuals and as‑built documentation.
  • Review project performance and compile lessons learned for future projects.
  • Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil & Structural, Architectural, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Services / M&E Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of relevant construction or project management experience.
  • Strong experience in site‑based project delivery, preferably for industrial, logistics, or warehouse developments.
  • Solid understanding of M&E coordination and construction sequencing, especially involving specialist systems.
  • Experience with ASRS, automation, or mechanised systems is a strong advantage.
  • Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently while managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and site safety requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
  • Able and willing to travel between site and office as required.
