Engineering Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out product changeover in a timely manner according to schedule and product process specification.
• Take necessary action to improve line efficiency and quality.
• Troubleshoot and rectify process problems such as soldering quality issues with analysis or root cause.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment problems in order to prevent the equipment from breakdown during production run.
• Carry out improvement and modification on hand tools, jigs and fixtures used on the production line.
• Carry out feeder maintenance and repair work.
• Perform ESD verification on work benches and equipment.
• Support project work for line improvement to achieve optimum efficiency.
• Support NPI activities pick & place program editing, perform line balancing and UPH improvement to production line.
• Carry out preventive maintenance production equipment, production tools and fixtures.
• Support Wave soldering machine, tasks similar to SMT.
• Support Plant Facility as and when required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Nitec or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in equipment maintenance related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical and pneumatic.
• Knowledge of PCBA equipment and process related knowledge is preferred.
• Proficient in computer applications.
