Trainee Embryologist

Job Duties

• General Duties include but are not limited to the following:
• Perform Andrology testing and routine andrology procedures.
• Assisting in routine embryology procedures including gamete handling, insemination and cryopreservation.
• Perform equipment maintenance and calibration procedures as required.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Have knowledge of, and complying with quality control, ethical issues and regulations surrounding gamete and embryo handling.

Requirements

The right candidate must have exacting standards, attention to detail and documentation, excellent communication skills and have the ability to adapt to the needs of our dynamic work environment.

Weekend and holiday rotations may be required and schedule flexibility, including weekend/holiday is essential.

Minimum Qualifications and Competencies:

. Degree in biological sciences or related

. No experience required but preferably with some laboratory experience

. Ability to multi-task and meet critical timelines

. Available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
