Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with 2-5 years of relevant working experience who possesses the following experience, knowledge, and qualities:

Basic knowledge of Electrical Building Services design.
Familiar with local codes and standards (e.g., SS 568, SS 560, etc.).
Able to perform cable sizing and voltage drop calculations in compliance with local codes and standards.
Familiar with earthing and lighting protection works.
Proficient in CAD software and able to carry out minor modifications independently.
Self-motivated individual able to lead a team of supervisors and electricians independently.
Able to coordinate with the Project Team to execute works, including scheduling and manpower planning.
Coordinate and support the Project LEW for Power Turn-On, Testing, and Commissioning.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
Able to communicate effectively and present project updates to clients.
Capable of preparing bid estimations and tender submissions.
Able to perform material take-offs from project drawings (e.g., cable containment routing, small power, and lighting layouts).

Requirements
A minimum of a Diploma or ITE Certification in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent recognised qualification is required.
Strong technical background with sound knowledge of construction works
Proficient in MS Office (e.g Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
Knowledge of cost estimation and contract administration.
Possess good writing, communication and interpersonal skills Drafting knowledge using AutoCAD is an added advantage
Good negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
