Job Description & Requirements
- Design projects & determine the right technologies for a particular application to meet the requirement of clients
- Evaluate & propose alternative solution & system integration for the overall project plan
- Ensure system compliance with regulatory bodies & standards
- Knowledge of relevant IEC & UL standards
- Manage project scope, cost, schedule & quality of work from site preparation stage till project completion & handover to clients
- Work with agencies, clients & contractors on any technical issues
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved plans, quality standard procedure, safety requirements & in a timely manner
- Provide regular progress update reports
- Perform planning, scheduling & implementing project maintenance works
- Carry out troubleshooting, test, repair & installation works as & when required
- Planning, cost control, work measurement & collection of performance data
- Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the Engineering Manager which is necessary for the execution of the project
- Ensure project technical issues are monitored, resolved & escalated where appropriate
Job Requirement:
- Degree or Bachelor in Engineering (Power / Electrical or related discipline preferred)
- At least 3 years in system design & engineering and project management
- Knowledge of codes such as the IEC, Singapore Standards and practices
- Working knowledge of standard electrical calculations, basic structural & mechanical calculation
- Competence in AutoCAD is a must
- Well versed in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Good documentation & report writing skills
- Must be able to apply new technologies
- Able to work independently
- Able to communicate with Chinese speaking customers and contractors
