Responsibilities:
- Oversee dismantling, repair, replacement, and reassembly of mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot machinery breakdowns and advise repair solutions in line with manufacturer specifications.
- Manage end-to-end job execution, from entry permits to work completion forms detailing all performed works.
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings and risk assessments enforce safe work practices.
- Prepare quotations, control job costs within budget, and respond to customer inquiries.
- Prepare service reports upon project completion, plan job methodologies and work schedules.
- Ensure timely completion of repairs, maintenance, and overhaul jobs.
- Allocate manpower and lead teams of technicians to execute projects.
- Liaise with customers to ensure smooth communication.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Marine / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of ship repair experience .
- Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
- Ability to work under tight schedules and adapt to varying ship arrival times.
- Capable of providing technical assistance across all work aspects.
- Independent, resourceful, proactive, and a team player.
