Involves in all aspects relating to the Design and Construction Management of all types of Civil and Structural Systems for Industrial Facilities Buildings
Assists in the design of Concrete and Steel Structures
Assists Project Managers in achieving project completion within budget and on schedule and quality
Prepares, Issues and Evaluates Tender packages
Coordinates with Architectural, Process, Mechanical, Electrical disciplines and Quantity surveyors
Address site issues related to design
Liaises with Consultants and sub-contractors
Manages timely submission and approvals from local authorities.
Responsible for ensuring to remain familiar with current practices and engineering trends within the industry and to remain technically competent
Ad hoc duties as determined by management.
Job Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering
At least 3 to 5 years of design and construction experience
Design and Construction experience preferably in industrial buildings with Precast and Long span roof trusses experiences
Site experience on piling works, Sub-structure and Super structure works for reinforce concrete, Steel structures and Precast structures
Experience working closely with Process, Mechanical and Electrical disciplines and Quantity surveyor
Experience of liaise with consultants and contractors
Experience with checking of shop drawings for Precast and steel structures and able to do detailed Design and work in a team and able to provide details for computer aided design team
Element design based on codal requirements
Knowledge of Structural design software STAAD-Pro, Prokon, Orion and etc
